Club Green Mission Statement
Club Green’s mission is to explore, reflect and learn how high school students can implement
tangible strategies that will encourage people to live an “eco-friendly” lifestyle.

Club Green is committed to responsibly sharing these “eco-friendly” strategies and other related environmental issues with people on the local level while having fun during the process.

Club Green - “The Early Years”
Club Green was founded in 2005 by the students of Staples High School. The original mission of Club Green was to harness solar energy technologies to power areas of Staples High School. Over the past few years Club Green’s mission has evolved into a passion to work together as a group and meet regularly to raise environmental awareness in Westport Connecticut.

We are proud that our “passion” to help the planet has blossomed into an fun and authentic opportunity for the students of Staples High School to experience.

Staples High School received its first four solar panels in the Summer of 2009. (Visit our BLOG for future updates)
